Dallas Gun Club ("DGC," "the Club," "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect on dallasgunclub.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a tour or contact us, we collect your name, email, mobile phone, preferred tour date and time, a second choice, how you heard about us, and who referred you. If you use our site chat, we collect what you type in the chat.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect basic usage information through cookies and similar tools, such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you arrived at the site.
2. How we use it
To schedule and confirm your tour and answer your questions. To follow up with you about membership and Club events. To credit the member who referred you. To understand how visitors use our site and improve it. To keep our site and records secure and meet legal obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or to third parties for their own marketing.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and stay in touch with you: Wix (website hosting and site chat), HubSpot (forms, email, website tracking and the contact details you enter in our site chat), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection on our forms), and the provider that delivers our text messages. They use it to provide those services to us. If you become a member, your information moves to the Club's member management system. We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect the safety of our members, guests, staff or property.
4. Text messages
If you check the box agreeing to receive texts, we will text you about your visit and about membership at Dallas Gun Club. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of requesting a tour or of membership. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the providers that deliver our text messages.
5. Email
You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us.
6. Cookies
Our site uses cookies from our website platform (Wix) and HubSpot to run the site, understand traffic and connect your request to our records. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, which collects device and browser information; Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. Declining cookies does not stop you from requesting a tour.
7. How long we keep it
We keep tour-request information for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us, such as a reply, form submission or visit, so we can follow up about membership, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. After a deletion request we keep only a minimal record so we honor your request not to be contacted, plus anything we must keep by law. Member records are kept separately under the Club's membership record practices.
8. Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email sales@dallasgunclub.com and we will respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our response or emailing sales@dallasgunclub.com with "Appeal" in the subject line.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure.
10. Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date.
